Privacy Policy
How EGX Investments collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this site.
Effective: May 7, 2026
Overview
EGX Investments LLC ("EGX," "we," or "us") operates egxinvestments.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we collect, how we use that information, the third-party services we engage, and your rights with respect to your personal information. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
EGX collects information you provide directly when you submit an inquiry, register for materials, request access to gated resources, or use the calculators on this Site. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number (when provided), firm or family office, areas of investment interest, accreditation status (when applicable), property details (for sellers and rebuild inquiries), and any notes you choose to share. We also collect technical information automatically through standard server logs and analytics (IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and aggregate session activity).
How We Use Information
Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry, send requested materials, qualify your investor profile, route you to the appropriate EGX team member, deliver personalized analyses (such as 1031 timelines or rebuild proformas), and coordinate any subsequent dialogue. Aggregate technical data is used to improve the Site, troubleshoot issues, and measure marketing effectiveness. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
EGX engages a small set of third-party services to operate this Site. Form submissions are processed through Formspree. Calendar scheduling is handled by Calendly. Map tiles on the Contact page are provided by Esri (World Imagery). Site analytics are powered by Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and similar technologies to measure aggregate usage. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We share with these providers only the minimum information necessary for them to perform their function.
Reg D 506(c) Verification
For investors seeking access to Regulation D Rule 506(c) syndicated offerings, EGX coordinates accredited-investor verification through a qualified third-party verification service. Self-certification collected through forms on this Site is preliminary only - formal verification documentation is required before any offering materials are provided. Verification records are retained as required by applicable securities regulations.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
This Site uses functional cookies for session continuity (such as the splash gate access state) and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage. We may also enable advertising and conversion-tracking pixels (such as Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag) for measurement of marketing campaigns; these are disclosed when active. You may disable cookies via your browser settings; some Site features may not function without them. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Data Retention
Information you submit is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes above, maintain ongoing investor relationships, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, securities, or reporting requirements. You may request earlier deletion subject to applicable law.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information we have collected about them, the specific pieces of personal information we hold, the purposes for which we use it, and the third parties with whom we have shared it. California residents may also request deletion of personal information we hold about them, subject to certain exceptions, and may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. EGX does not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact info@egxinvestments.com.
Your Rights Generally
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted by contacting EGX at info@egxinvestments.com. Requests are processed within a commercially reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing; contact us to exercise these rights.
Taiwan Residents (Personal Data Protection Act)
If you are a resident of Taiwan, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) provides you with rights in relation to personal data EGX holds about you. These include the right to inquire about and review your personal data, to request a copy, to request supplementation or correction, to request that collection, processing, or use cease, and to request deletion. EGX collects personal data from Taiwan residents for the purposes of investor relations, real estate advisory communication, and event coordination described above. Providing personal data is voluntary; if you choose not to provide it, EGX may be unable to respond to your inquiry or provide requested materials. To exercise these rights, contact info@egxinvestments.com.
Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data
EGX is headquartered in the United States, and personal data you submit is transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. This applies to data submitted from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other jurisdictions outside the United States. United States data protection law may differ from, and may provide less protection than, the law of your home jurisdiction. By submitting information to EGX, you acknowledge this transfer. Where your local law requires a specific legal basis or consent for international transfer, EGX relies on your submission of the information as consent to that transfer for the purposes described in this policy.
LINE and Messaging Communications
EGX uses LINE as a direct messaging channel for cross-border communication. Messages exchanged with EGX through LINE are business communications and are retained consistent with the record-keeping obligations that apply to real estate brokerage and securities-related activity. Message content may be reviewed by EGX personnel, retained for the retention periods described above, and produced where required by law, regulation, or regulatory examination. Do not transmit sensitive personal identifiers, financial account numbers, or documents through LINE; use the secure channels EGX provides for those materials. LINE itself is operated by a third party and is subject to its own privacy policy and terms, which EGX does not control.
Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and EGX does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to EGX, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
EGX maintains commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes To This Policy
EGX may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
