Helping Displaced Homeowners
Come Home, Sooner
The Eaton and Palisades fires displaced thousands of families. The hard part is not the burn. The hard part is the wait - two summers, three summers, four - for stick-built construction to deliver while families live in rentals. EGX shortens that wait.
We rebuild homes in roughly half the time of conventional construction. We rebuild them with non-combustible Type II steel framing, fiber cement cladding, and fire-rated assemblies engineered to resist what burned the last one down. That is the work. That is the reason this practice exists.
The neighborhoods come back when the homes come back. Schools, businesses, fabric of the place.
EGX exists for this work. We rebuild so families can come home, faster.
Built To Last
Engineered Beyond Code
EGX rebuilds use Type II steel framing, non-combustible assemblies, and fiber cement cladding. The result is a structure that meets or exceeds California Building Code Chapter 7A requirements for wildland-urban interface zones. Insurance carriers price the difference.
Specific manufacturer specifications, fire ratings, and assembly details documented in the EGX construction set for each project. Subject to local code review and fire authority approval.
Speed Is Everything
When Families Are Waiting
EGX delivers fire-rebuild homes in roughly half the time of stick-built construction. Eight to thirteen months versus sixteen to twenty-five. For displaced homeowners that delta is the difference between two summers in a rental and one.
Modular also brings precision factory assembly, non-combustible engineered components, and consistent code-exceeding spec. Insurance premiums price lower with carriers than stick-built. The owners and the carriers both win.
